Hartmut commented on the problem with tall pilots and leg room when you have pedals.
Some replacement seat cushions are a lot thicker than the original cushions I had in my Coupe. (And, maybe my cushions just had squished flat in the 30 years before I bought my plane.) Having thinner cushions might minimize this problem. I've ridden in a couple of Coupes with such thick seat cushions I had to sit with my neck bent all the flight to keep from having it rub the sliding door/window overhead. But, cramped legs is a main reason why I would not want pedals in a plane I just used for fun. But it didn't bother me so much that I bothered to have them ripped out. Ed
