I will Tom. Im a little afraid of her now. In my mind (what there is of it) it would seem that since the tab is level with the elevator in the up position , that ,that would be neutral and there would be no up trim ? Perhaps I just dont have a grasp of aeronatics. Another question.......The right wing(pass side) ailron appears to have a slight downward bend along the trailing end through about 40% of the length. Could this be some sort of correction for something else , or be related. In any event , im going to go out and love on her for a while. This little machine always makes me smile. --- On Sat, 7/25/09, TG <[email protected]> wrote:

You're on the correct track - get with your A&P and scale weigh the aircraft. Unless it's an oddball design - which Ercoupes are not - at cruise, if the cg is in the center of the cg range, the trim should be in the center of its range too. Always remember that many of the people involved in aviation have just enough knowledge to be dangerous.....and 'coupes seem to attract more than their fair share of these...... With the trim all the way up to the stop and at cruise ,she should be neutral ...? No weight has been added up front. I want her weighed and all the calculations done so I can determin a true W&B. Thanks for the input.
