Nick,

A quick perusal of my 2007 book from Univair of "Ercoupe Memoranda and Service
Bulletins" reveals of list of Ercoupe Service Memorandums (ESM) with enough
information to help us understand the installation, adjustment, and operation
elevator trim system:

ESM 19 - Discussion of Longitudinal Trim Device
ESM 25 - Box Car Shipments of Ercoupes, Ser. No. 1623 and Up (Procedure for
assembly of trim units.)
ESM 35 - Rigging
ESM 38 - Trim Tab Control Installation
ESM 55 - Trim Tab Actuating wire - Inspection Of
ESM 55A - Trim Tab Stop and Springs - Installation Of

I couldn't find anything in the service bulletins or information letters, but
me thinks the above is enough reading for today...

Nick, thanks for the topic.

John, thanks for the reminder of ERCO/UNIVAIR information literature.
