Nick, Yeah, I should have thought to mention that. I bought my bird from a really short guy. Accordingly, the seat cushions were so thick that I could not wear some headsets.
But, when I replaced th seat cushions with standard ones, I had plenty of headroom. I am about 6 ft. I'm 6'2" so I hope I fit under it. Nick, Normally, the side window plastic is cut long enough to go from top center to just below the window sill. Some people with a center sun shield (basically a baby window with left and right end pieces) may have their side windows cut shorter. It's not all that big a deal to get new Plexiglas from the local plastics shop, get it cut to the specified size and rivet it to the end pieces - any good A&P should have no trouble. If you're too tall for having the window closed over you, consider removing some stuffing from the seat cushion. Fred Weick was taller than you, I seem to remember. Some seat cushion replacements are much thicker than the factory cushions. Ed
