I'll try to skim thru a book or two tonight. A few weeks ago my AIG adjuster
was here on another matter. Some how he managed to find my hanger door open and
looked over my plane. He noticed the scratched up nose bowl and wanted to know
what happened. I told him that the spinner backing plate had broken in flight.
Then he wanted to know what I did about that. I told him I had replaced it with
the skull cap spinner that was on it at the time. He said that was a smart move
and went about his business.
