I thought the oil tank baffle was called for when a variable pitch prop was
installed.

I'm still looking for my Coupe book with no luck. I did find "Stick and Rudder"
and did some review. Reading or rereading "Stick and Rudder" is way more
important in my eyes than worring about the cooling loss with a skull cap
spinner. If you can get it installed and approved with a 337 it must be ok with
out a 337. It is approved for certain props. FAA/PMA'd. Skull Cap for Small
Size Spinner. Diameter 5-1/4". Sensenich 74CK-0, 74CK-2, 76AM6-2, 76CK, 72CK,
76AK-2, 74FKT, 74FK; McCauley CM74, CM73, CM71, CM70, LM72. Code 4
