Guys, I have been ramped checked. I was a student pilot in 1999, I had just bought the aircoupe and I was ramped checked.
It wasn't as bad as I had expected. I had just taxied in to my parking spot after shooting a few touch and goes and this non discript sedan quickly parked infront of my plane. As I exited the plane, the FFA agent said his name was Antonio and asked if I had time for a ramp check. Of course I said yes. He asked me for my log book, student license, medical, Registration, airworthiness certfificate and weight and balance sheet. I had them all as my instructer had drilled arrow into my head. He checked my solo endorsements, asked a few questions about who maintained my newly aquired bird. He moved the ailerons. peeked inside the cockpit and said, "wow that is about as simple as they get." "Have a nice day and good luck." I figure I am good for a lifetime now..... chad surmick Alon A-2 N5479E
