Two ramp checks since 1968 and 13000 hrs.  First was a FCC ramp check  in 
1969.  Second
check by FAA 2005,  this was a scary one as I was 650 miles from  home 1630 
hot Friday
afternoon and the boss was on the way to the airport.  Billfold along  with 
medical and license
at home and co-pilot not typed in aircraft (not required).   They  aren't 
all bad and I was on my
way with a little pleading and a couple promises,  boss never got wind  of 
it.
