Don: I have wheel pants, and I am afflicted with Harbor Freight disease (sounds like you might be, too) I used the transmission jack idea, and it works fine when you use four cement blocks to provide a solid base for the transmission jack. I did replace the wheels on the jack with short 4 X 4's, and use a short 4 X 4 on the top plate of the jack to get to the spar area only. I also got a piece of thick carpet to put over the 4 X 4 so that it wouldn't scrape the paint. It works good, and is solid. I'll try to add a photo... -Ron Black #N93394
