I had oil everywhere in the engine compartment until I found that the two  
halves of the oil tank were not bolted together tightly.  Tightened and  
re-safety wired the castellated nuts and voila - no leak.

I would start with a clean inner cowling and  reduce the amount of oil in 
the storage tank by one quart.  
Then I would check the blowby tube installation  on the top of the 
crankcase to see if it is properly in place and properly  routed to the blowby 
tube 
exit at the bottom of the cowl.
Do the easy stuff first.
