I had oil everywhere in the engine compartment until I found that the two halves of the oil tank were not bolted together tightly. Tightened and re-safety wired the castellated nuts and voila - no leak. Bart In a message dated 8/3/2010 9:35:35 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
Mac:: I would start with a clean inner cowling and reduce the amount of oil in the storage tank by one quart. Then I would check the blowby tube installation on the top of the crankcase to see if it is properly in place and properly routed to the blowby tube exit at the bottom of the cowl.
