Trust me, it didn't.  It reached maybe 60 km.

I was using low thrust engines and a really squat vehicle.  I also had
a bug that counted the second stage twice in computing mass.  But
fixing that hasn't made that much difference - I'm still only getting
about 500 km out of it.  Dave M tells me my CD is too high, but I'm
waiting on some numbers from him before I start over again.

Well, if Air Force Intelligence wasn't reading the list before, they
are now (assuming FBI/NSA cross-decks the take).  Hi guys.  Remember
how you needed a threat demonstrator to sell SMV to the Generals...?

That's all accounted for.  The formula for calculating the tank mass
has a term for aspect ratio.
