         My intuition of the way the aerodynamic perturbations work is that 
their relative magnitude is not particularly dependent on how optimized the 
plug shape. In addition, having a simple engine shape, like a straight 
cone, makes it easier for ourselves and others to make CFD models of the 
engine. You don't need to worry about generating a mesh for a cone.
