We wanted to develop new technology, not be just another rocket club. So we tested and tested and tested and tested on that damn cermet catalyst, and never got anywhere near having an engine reliable enough to put in POGO. So we got impatient, decided flying was more important than staying on our technology development track, and commenced on KISS. Bit the bullet on being just another rocket club, only to find we were in fact just another *liquid fuel* rocket club - and how many of them are there? (I don't know, but you don't have to take off your shoes to count 'em.) Lo and behold, it turned out that some of our ideology was misplaced - we *needed* the operational experience we got from KISS and KISS beta - and some of it was premature. The silver screens that we know for a fact are not good enough for PROTO, are more than good enough for POGO, Spike, and probably even ReSOAR. -R -- Son: Dad, I have a question about women.
