Well, you've done your homework. Most of the people and Web sites I
would have suggested to you as sources are already in your message.

One other possibility that springs to mind is the staff of the former
Space Expeditions, Inc. This was a spinoff of a Seattle, WA adventure
travel company (whose name I can't recall). At some point (late 1980s?),
they had on deposit reservation fees from a number of people for
prospective trips to space in a passenger module for the Shuttle. You can
look for Colette Bevis; I think she was vice president. Others will have to
supply the president's name; I can't recall his name either.

The bottom line is that there is a lot of interest in space tourism,
and a surprising amount of effort has been and is being expended to make it
happen. But you won't find much coverage of that in the papers or on the
nightly news.

Oh, one other option: If your schedule permits, think about attending
the annual Space Access conference. This takes place in Phoenix, Arizona in
late April. (Of course, you probably know that already...)

Best success,

Chris Winter
