Hmmmm.... set one of the machines up with a terminal console program 
connected to the serial port, and send data to it from one of the other 
machines, with appropriate cabling... make sure, for example, that the 
build server can read data from the laptop port, and then use it to 
receive the same data sent from the PC-104, and compare...
