I think not having a confirmation is dangerous, I can press the wrong button and see all my stuff disappear.
But changes are not saved unless you confirm by pressing the Save button. And if you are satisfied with all the changes you made, you will need to go into the configuration page and save the configuration explicitly into persistent storage.

Well, in my case, I was adding few mediators inside out mediator, and I accidentally click on the delete button in front of Out mediator and all the mediators that were within were lost along with the out mediator. So if I spent some time coming up with the sequence of mediators inside the out mediator, I would rather not loose all of them unintentionally, so I suppose we need some confirmation.
