Just a quick update:

If I run gnustep apps like SystemPreferences or Terminal under
WindowMaker-crm, the menus titles appear where they would do if the
Etoile menubar were drawn (even though it isn't running), and the menus
themselves appear correctly.

So, is it possible there is some incompatibility with the Etoile window
manager (is this Azalea?) and my graphics drivers in some strange way?
