Would you like to have some glyph inspector for font manager ?
I was thinking about such application for a while.
It is quite useful in many cases,
for example, look up the code of a glyph for HTML.
This one is in Cocoa under BSD license:
http://pixel.recoil.org/cocoa/index.html
I haven't really look at the code yet.
There are a few carbon stuff and some uses of NSDrawer.

There is also a small character panel in Typewriter
which shows all glyphs from specified font
and allow users to copy and paste from it.

I don't know how these three things should integrate with each other or not.
If you have no interest in such function in Font Manager,
I may just port it as a stand-alone application.
