I inverstigated into some strange problems with NSBoxes (see attached pic). I came across this effect after installing/using the Narcissus theme which uses different window backgrounds and where the window backgrounds have a darker shade than the other widgets. This leads to the effects you can observe on the boxes' labels. They are drawn using the window background. While this is OK for the outer box, i think it is not for the inner ones. There are actually two possibilities: 1. Have a box draw its label using the background of its parent widget instead of the window background. This will of course have the effect that the background colours of different boxes' labels may may differ, even in the same window. Not so nice, imho. 2. Make a box use its own background colour for the label. This will make the box appear as one uniquely coloured rectangle containing the frame, the label and all childs. This does of course not match the way boxes are drawn by the original GNustep code, but will improve the looks on themes like Narcissus drastically. Any opinions on this?
