if some riaa-lawyer-goon-squad brought suit against etree.org and proved to the judge that etree.org facilitated illegal activity, could they shut it down? Sure, we could rebuild. we could make etree2.org and regroup. but wouldn't it be easier just to make sure that the lawyers couldn't show anything?
I'm all in favor of banning people who are facilitating illegal activity. Put a nice big "read the faq's and abide by them or you will be banned!" statement on the signup page. WOB tax: to a modem-digester: BnP any one show my server: http://sandra.rh.rit.edu/~etree/etree/ |- how much bandwidth would we save by removing these etree tags? -| _______________________________________________ etree.org etree mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://mail.etree.org/mailman/listinfo/etree Need help?
