I think the problem is that if such a suit were brought, it would de facto shut etree down because etree could not financially sustain its own defense. So I agree with you: it would be best if there were simply no improprieties. I don't particularly like the idea of trying to set up some filtering device to censor the lists. There are not _that_ many improper requests and when there are, it becomes evident on-list that such requests are not permitted here. That should be enough.
