Greetings friends. We see this conversation every now and again, I'm guessing it'll be 2 days before the Sharpie one pops up. Here's the general feeling that we keeo hearing:
Only use discs that are made in Japan. The only way (ONLY WAY) to tell this is to read the label. There are Sonys that are NOT made in Japan, as there are TDKs and Fujis. READ THE LABEL. There's also a disc identifier program out there somewhere, but it only runs on platforms up to Win98.
