This was pointed out once before quite awhile ago but apparently many missed it. I think there was even a web site with particulars but I don't have it bookmarked. The ATIP info from a disc only tells you about the plates that press the disc. I can buy/take plates from the TY factory in Japan and bring them to Taiwan, use inferior dyes and plastics in the manufacturing process but as long as I use those plates to press then your ATIP info will still read quality dye and say made by TY. This is why a "made in Japan" label is your best bet for quality as there are no bunk cdr manufacturers in Japan AFAIK.
