Fry's is at exit 283, turn right and a quick left. It was formerly
Uncredible Universe. If you are heading up to Portland anyway, it is a
nice quick detour.

Their current ad has stuff like:

a 30 GB Hard drive for $189 (limit 5)

a 50 pack Spindle CD_R 80 min/700 MB $24.50

They have Linux software and books; and often have some "door buster"
stuff that they sell below their cost, such as a ream of Photo Copy
paper for $0.99

I recently filled out a "customer feedback form" requesting that they
open a store closer to my neighborhood (Corvallis) and got a nice return
letter from Randy Fry, vice-president.

If you like Fry's too, make sure to pick up a "customer feedback form"
at the checkout line and request that they open a store in your
neighborhood.

Recently, a couple of retail computer stores in Corvallis went out of
business (Computer Renaissance and MicroSolutions) and at least a couple
others deserve the same fate. It would be great to have Fry's come in
and put them out of their misery.
