Thanks for the info, both of you.  Too far out of my way today, but
next time I go through Portland... guess it's off to Circuit City
(or Staples?) today.

One of my boxes has stuttering audio whenever I do something 
video-intensive, and I've heard rumours its because some PCI
vidcards steal bandwidth from other components.  I'm going to 
upgrade to an AGP to see if that helps.
