BTW, I never made it back to the UO student union to try again to get
my WaveLAN card talking.  Anne's employer gives her a service called
iPass which is Windows only but has dialup numbers everywhere, and we
used it to dial in from our hotel room at 56Kbps.  Mike Smith
graciously let us in to AuthCorp's offices (where the Saturday meeting
was) a couple of times, and we were glad to use their T1 line.  And
once, we went to the UO student union and used one of the PCs in the
computer lab.
