Wow, Dex, sounds like lofty ideals in regards to the hardware in particular.
Yea, I am holding my breath for desktop manufacturing, but I still have
trouble
believing that anyone would leave new HW standards unpatented! Free
licensing
sounds much more reasonable to me. Oh, and lets PLEASE rename threads
as per
topic. I personally think this thread should move to another list
altogether!
What was that list we spawned a while back? advocacy? activism?

Well, I wanted to reflect that this ("my") thread has grown into a
nearly perfect
example of our LUG... our variety, which can be a strength if we all
keep some
perspective. Well, thank you all for your feedback. I am curious to
check out some
of the nifty technodepots in our area that I was not familiar with.
