I just downloaded the floppy boot (boot.img) as per the instructions in
the online installation manual. It is 1.4MB not 2.88. I used rawrite to
put it on a floppy and booted my 'puter with the evaluation CD in the CD
ROM drive; after some sputtering and searching it said "wrong version of
disk image" and shutdown. I guess what this means is that the standard
RH-8.0 boot floppy and the RH-8.0 Evaluation CD are not compatible. -Dex
