Amen. Well put Tim. I only have my A+ just to show I know the basics. Hands on is NEVER the same as what some book says. I know a Win2K MCSE who got his cert from a boot camp. Most any idiot can remember enough crammed info for a day or two to pass a test. It's not worth wasting my money on MS certs. Network+ is one of the few I have any other interest in. But only for the common knowledge that any other can possess. For some reason employers seem to be impressed by pieces of paper.
