Never setup NFS? ooohh man you gunna dig this!
Its really easy, and ohh soo useful!
If you want I can help you get it going..
basicly you just need the binaries (nfsd...) installed, and an /etc/exports
(this file describes what directorys/filesystems and how you want to export
them). Then you can mount these directorys/filesystems on other computers
with the mount command (just like you mount a local filesystem). NFS is
really sweet.
