I did some research on sun's site and on ebay. Based on ebay availability, I'm
thinking of an ultra 5 or 10. These systems look like they come standard with
10/100 and a 24-bit capable video card that also has a db-15 connector. Do you
still recommend a creator 3d or will any on board 24-bit card do (like a PX24).

These systems support scsi or ide. Can I plug a regular scsi/ide drive in to
it and expect it to work as it should? Any problem with a 200gb western
digital ide drive plugged in to one of those? Can I plug any pci card in
a pci slot and expect it to work? I probably only need an OS driver, right?

On intel, I've experienced the difference between pentium, p2, p3, as well as
p2-400 vs p3-400, etc. What are the relationships between an Ultrasparc-II
(U2), Ultrasparc-IIi (u5/10). How about ultrasparc-II 300 vs IIi 300? How
about a ultra 2x300 vs an ultra10 333 or even 440mhz?

Thanks!
Cory
