It will work just fine.

Well, like mot computers, the bios needs to recognize your pci card. So in the 
OpenBootProm (OBP aka Sun's bios) probe-pci will scan you pci bus. If the OBP detects 
your western digital ide drive, then you should be able to boot from it. Dunno if 
200Gb is a problem or not. Have a look at http://www.ultralinux.org/ for detailed 
info.

Well, a SMP box would be able to process more than a UP since it has two cpu. Your not 
going to see much difference with 333mhz to 440mhz. Keep in mind these are 3 - 5 year 
old computers. If it were I buying a Sun, i wouldn't buy a U5 or U10 as they are 
similar to an x86 box which are better. U1 or U2 are scsi based and have good I/O. An 
U30 tends to have a few higher end parts, like a Creator 3D video card then U10s.
