Hrmmm.. so could you tell me explicitly what you added? I looked in my 
XF86Config, and didnt find DGA. 
The curious thing is that Im using the same XF86Config that I used under slack 
8.1, and under suse 8. During bootup I can see that the correct module 
parameters are being loaded for my card (Slack did this automagicly... )
It didnt work at all at first, then I got some help via IRC, and was able to 
get xawtv to launch, and do audio, buy its just black screen...
