Note, KT7A is what I have.  Any bootable drives on ide0 or ide1 will cause
the Promise PCI card to fail to boot, regardless of BIOS settings.  My
BIOS is probably current - I've not flashed it in about a year now, but
then again it's a 2+ year old board - probably there have not been any
more updates since then.

I do not know if ide2 or 3 (the Highpoint controller) have the same
limitation regarding bootability since I do not have a Highpoint chip.
