As I said I never had a problem with it.  This is likely cached for a
little while, which would prevent sharing unless you've paid for it.
However if it wasn't cached then they'd have to send out a tech every
time you got a new network card or computer or whatever or wanted to
upgrade to 2+ ip service which is not likely.
