Courier is nice for IMAP, but I think it uses Maildir internally (that would have been a feature when I tried it..) Courier provides a complete integrated Mail Thingy, but of the suite, I found that I did not like it's SMTP server. It just wasn't as good as exim IMO, let alone postfix.
