Is there a way to set up imap so that it uses a different password than my user password? I'm cautious of sending passwords in plaintext and set up imap on port 993 so it uses SSL. But if I'm logging into Squirrelmail not using https, what's the point? I supposed I should look into compiling apache to use SSL as the preferred option.
