The Box:
I have a dual boot ASUS Sonoma/Centrino mobile
platform with a 15.4" Widescreen TFT WSXGA LCD and an Intel® 915PM chipset with
an Intel® Pentium® M processor. I got my Excaliber laptop from ASL but I
have one question:
The Problem:
When I try to start it up it still races and does not boot. This happens
when I boot with power cord plugged in. This happens when it is powered by
battery only. I am not even getting a Bios or a Grub sequence, the screen stays
black as the hard-drive races.
The Question:
Is there anyone in Cottage Grove/Eugene Metropolitan Area that fixes Linux
Laptops, or at least reads tea-leaves over them?
