Precisely. Many people think Centrino is a processor when it is actually a 'package' of components. Intel Pentium M, Intel Wireless, Intel chipset and video. Use a Broadcom wireless adapter and you can't use the Centrino name. Viiv is the same thing for 'multimedia'. Not so much a certification but a label indicating a certain selection of components.
