Check out Grandstream's line.  I just bought a Budgetone 101 for $40 +
shipping.  The weird thing is that I haven't seen it yet because I had

Be aware that these are _seriously_ budget handsets. A friend of mine who is
doing a lot of voip stuff with asterix experimented with using these about a
year ago. They were missing some feature that prevented them from being
usable in the installations they were doing, sorry I can't remember
specifically what it was. Additionally, they just feel cheap. Open one up
and they're 90% air, with the PCB hot-glued in. They'd be fine for tinkering
or whatever, but I wouldn't put my name on a system built around them. If
you move up to the Snom stuff you'll get much higher quality for a
relatively small jump in price..
