Like cars (and lots of other machinery), you often get what you pay for...
this is why we see many Volvo's with 500k+ miles, have you ever seen
that on a Geo or other sub-$10k (new price) car?

No surprise.  Get rid of the junk.  Stop screwing around and get some
decent gear :)
