It sounds like you either don't have UTF-8 support (unlikely) or there's a bug in the combination of your browser and gmail that is preventing it from parsing multipart MIME encoded emails properly. I alternate between using the gmail web interface on linux and OS X and wrtitng email from Apple Mail, it looks like the most recent missive I sent to this list was from my macbook, so you could blame Steve Jobs (and looking at the raw message content, I note a few uglies in terms of added characters and html cruft in the message body, but nothing that should cause it to fail to display. _______________________________________________ EUGLUG mailing list [email protected] http://www.euglug.org/mailman/listinfo/euglug
