Hello, in some other context, Charlie Clark pointed to a mobile app that appears to be exactly what we'd need for EuroPython. It's called "The Conventionist" and available for iPhone and Android:
http://www.conventionist.com/ I'm not sure how exactly the data feed works, but it appears as if you just need to point the company to the conference website and they take care of adding the data to their backend: http://www.conventionist.com/contact/ The website is clear about the costs of the app or the setup, but I suggest contacting them for details, since it would avoid having to create an app specifically for (each) EuroPython. Here's a screencast explaining the app: http://www.conventionist.com/screencast/ -- Marc-Andre Lemburg eGenix.com Professional Python Services directly from the Source (#1, Apr 05 2011) >>> Python/Zope Consulting and Support ... http://www.egenix.com/ >>> mxODBC.Zope.Database.Adapter ... http://zope.egenix.com/ >>> mxODBC, mxDateTime, mxTextTools ... http://python.egenix.com/ ________________________________________________________________________ ::: Try our new mxODBC.Connect Python Database Interface for free ! :::: eGenix.com Software, Skills and Services GmbH Pastor-Loeh-Str.48 D-40764 Langenfeld, Germany.
