OH MY ... <red-faced> (I'll never hear the end of this!) I had it exactly backwards. The weight must be FORWARD.
Using a trailer, the weight must be forward, thereby keeping weight ON the tongue and hitch. As far as a car is concerned, the weight should be forward of the center of the car ... Not back of the rear wheels. (I laugh to picture what that would look like.) As far as the U-Haul car tow-dolly. Works great ... for whatever reason.
