True enough. I've been mystified by this for quite a while, as you know.

One thing to remember is that 3100 lbs in a accord frame is not really
stressing the frame that much.. it's well within GVWR. 3380 lbs in a CRX is
stressing the bearings, tires, etc well beyond what the designers expected
the stresses to be - there may be some nonlinear phenomenon.

We go through this about once a year, haven't come up with any successful
explanation yet. Can you get 4-corner weights for ACRX, by the way? (i.e.
what the weight at each tire is)

Okay. Tricky part is finding a level surface.. again, those numbers are for
level cruising, hills obviously involve more amps or less..
