If you do not overcharge and overheat, there should be no problems. It is not trivial to accomplish this, but please don't scare people beyond reasonable cautions. I bet mistreating is bad, but this mistreating should not be allowed. I bet mistreating a gas tank is more spectacular, but everyone has one under their butt and not worrying much. Why? Gasoline is still flammable/explosive but safety measures in cars has been worked out. The same applies to the batteries. Victor
