The school I work for has about 50 older model IBM thinkbad 390E laptops.
These all have lithium ion batteries, and they are starting to fail. Some
won't hold more than 10-15 minutes of charge, and some will hold about 30
(new they held between 1.5 and 2 hrs).

These things cost 180 bucks a pop to replace. Anyone know of a battery
reconditioner that I could build or buy that might get us another year out
of them (they are 3 years old now). They are all slated to be replaced next
year, so I realy only need about 9 more months out of them.

Any help off, or on list, greatly appreciated.

James
