I wanted to add that not all EV drivers or EV proponents are dead-set against SUV's. For that matter some EV drivers *are* SUV drivers, if one counts the RAV4 EV. I, for one, have mixed thoughts on them. But the only way to hash these things out is to discuss them, somewhere, in some way. As to President Bush, and the relevance of discussing his policies as they may pertain to EV advocacy (and the California situation), well-said.
