The GEM E825 has 6 batteries, 4 batteries under the rear seat and 2 over the front axle/motor.
The sensor is indeed attached to one of the battery posts. I took IR temp readings of the cases during the finish last night and highest temp observed was 88 degrees. Seems reasonable. Ambient temp in the garage was about 55. I did in fact research the Delta-Q 7200 somewhat extensively before buying and everything I found referenced 10+ user-configurable profiles, including a Concorde AGM profile... Only after I had purchased, installed, and attempted to change profiles did I discover what Delta-Q had done. Sounds like I'm ok. From my reading it appears AGM's are much more tolerant of overcharging than GELs... I'm still amazed that this charger, set to a GEL profile, would *ever* apply 16V. Everything I've read about GELs says it's bad news to over-charge them... Will read up on IUI. Thanks as always for your knowledge! -- View this message in context: http://electric-vehicle-discussion-list.413529.n4.nabble.com/Delta-Q-Charger-tp429422p4661220.html Sent from the Electric Vehicle Discussion List mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org For EV drag racing discussion, please use NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA)
