As you've probably noticed, Tesla has little need to push or promote 
their cars.  No media advertising.  So far, they are able to sell all 
they can make with no such expenditures.  So, I wouldn't expect Tesla 
to be trying very hard to sell you a car in the near future.

I ordered my S online without having visited a show room or even having 
seen a car "in the flesh".  The first S I saw was mine being unloaded 
off an 18 wheeler in front of my house.  I have absolutely zero 
regrets.  I bought the car strictly for it's range.  The performance 
was a very pleasant surprise.  The developing SuperCharger network is 
an even more pleasant surprise.
